Built in the 413. Working nationwide.

See it built before you pay for it.

Websites, web apps, and custom software. In person across Western Mass, remote anywhere else in the country. We build a real, working version first — you look at it on your own phone and decide.

01 — Websites

For customers standing in a parking lot with one bar of signal.

That is genuinely where most people will find you: on a phone, in a hurry, deciding between you and the next result. So we build for that first — fast, legible, correct about your hours, and one tap from calling you.

  • Tested at 360px wide, not just a desktop preview
  • Tap-to-call and maps wired in, then tested on a real phone
  • Local SEO groundwork and schema — and no ranking promises, because nobody can honestly make them
  • Five to twenty pages, live about a week after your content lands

On screen: ALDER, an architecture website concept. An illustrative design, not a client project.

02 — Web apps

The part a website can't do.

Booking that respects how your week actually works. A members' area. An order form that feeds the system you already use instead of another inbox. When a page has to do the work rather than describe it, that's a web app.

  • Runs in the browser — nothing for anyone to install
  • Built around how you already work, not around a template
  • Works on a phone, because that's where your staff are
  • Scoped and priced in writing before anyone writes a line of it

On screen: DAYLIGHT, a scheduling app concept. Fictional appointments and sample data.

03 — Custom software & automation

For the job nothing off the shelf actually fits.

Sometimes the tool you need doesn't exist, and sometimes the one that does costs more every month than building your own would once. We scope it in writing, build it in stages you can look at, and hand over the source at the end.

  • A fixed written price before any work starts
  • Built in stages, each one something you can open and try
  • Automation where it earns its keep — the tools you already use, talking to each other instead of to a clipboard
  • You own the source and the data, start to finish

On screen: RELAY, an operations dashboard concept. Fictional projects and sample data.

Tell us what you're trying to fix.

One message is enough. We build a real, working version of your site and send you the link — you pay nothing unless you want to go ahead, and we won't keep emailing you if you go quiet.

  • Emailinfo@webbuilt413.com
  • Phone(413) 419-0134
  • In personHampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire counties — Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield, Springfield, and everywhere between. If you want us at your counter, we can be.
  • Everywhere elseAnywhere in the US, remotely. You're not disqualified for living outside the 413 — the demo, the revisions, and the handover all happen over a link and a phone call regardless.

This reaches us directly — nothing sits in an inbox waiting to be noticed. We reply to the address you give, usually the same day.

Why we do it backwards

Most local businesses lose customers before anyone walks in the door.

Someone searches for you on their phone, lands on a page that's slow, out of date, or doesn't exist — and goes to the next result. You never hear about it. That's the part that's hard to fix, because nothing looks broken from where you're standing.

So we do it backwards from everyone else. Before you pay for anything, we build a real, working version and send you the link. You look at it on your own phone. If you like it, we rebuild it properly, connect your domain, and get it live. If you don't, you owe us nothing and we won't chase you.

None of that needs us in the room, either. If you're in the valley we'll come and sit down with you, which is the good part of being local. If you're three states away it's a link, an email, and a phone call — which is how most of this job works anyway.

  • 01

    See it first

Not a wireframe, not a slide deck — the actual build, on a link you can open standing in a parking lot.

  • 02

    Priced up front

Three prices, published further down this page. No “contact us for a quote” — that only ever means working out what you'll tolerate.

  • 03

    We stay

We handle hosting and updates for a flat monthly fee. Your domain is registered in your name, and you can take a full export any time you ask.

How it works

Four steps, and the demo comes first.

That's the order we do things in — and it's the only reason a stranger should be willing to pay us up front.

  1. We build a demo

You send nothing and pay nothing. We build a real, working version from what's already public about your business, and send you the link.

  2. You look at it

On your own phone, on your own time. Change anything — colors, photos, wording, all of it. Or walk away and owe us nothing.

  3. We build it properly

The build is paid up front, then it's about a week from the day your text and photos arrive. Two weeks on the biggest tier.

  4. We keep it running

Flat monthly hosting, security updates, and small corrections by text at no charge. Leave whenever: 30 days' notice, full export, no exit fee.

What it costs

Three prices, on the page, where they belong.

Hosting is separate and flat, and it's the part that keeps the site online, secure, and backed by someone who answers.

Web apps and custom software

There's no number on this page for those, and the honest reason is that they're genuinely different every time. Any figure we printed here would be a guess we'd have to walk back later, which is exactly the game we're trying not to play.

What we do commit to is the thing that makes the website prices work: a fixed, written price before any work starts. If we can't give you a firm number yet, we'll tell you precisely what we'd need to find out first — and what that costs.

Talk through a project

Every build includes a free demo first, hosting set up and managed for you, security updates, uptime monitoring, your domain registered in your name, and a full site export on request, any time, at no charge. Care Plan, +$50/month: five content changes a month — new photos, updated menus, a new page section — plus store management if you sell online. Added to any package, started whenever you like.
